Silver Stacking Rings Workshop - morning of Saturday 16th January 2027
Have you always wanted to try making your own jewellery? Or maybe you're looking for a fun day out with friends? This workshop is perfect for both!
Come and make yourself a beautiful trio of silver stacking rings. A range of wires will be available for you to choose from, and you can choose to leave them plain, add a hammered texture or even use metal dies to create wavy patterns. Mix and match!
This is an ideal class for beginners, and will introduce you to sizing rings, soldering, filing, texturing and polishing. 14 to 16 year olds are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the workshop fee.
Date and Venue
10pm-1pm Saturday 16th January 2027 at Studio 4B, Kemps Quay, Quayside Road, Southampton, SO18 1BZ. Full directions will be emailed.
Materials
Cost of the materials is payable on the day. The exact cost of the materials will be determined by the size, number and therefore weight of the rings you make and the price of silver on the day, however material costs for most sets of rings is approximately £12-£15.
Tools and Equipment
The workshop fee includes use of all the tools and equipment needed.
Cancellations
Cancellations of workshop places and private tuition bookings within four weeks of the event will forfeit the workshop fee/private tuition deposit unless I am able to find someone to take your place. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.
