Textured Earrings and Pendant Workshop - Friday 31st March 2023
By the end of this workshop you will have made two beautiful pairs of earrings or two lovey pendants - or one of each, the choice is yours!
We will be using the rolling mill to emboss simple shapes of silver with beautiful patterns, allowing you to learn the basics of using this fantastic piece of equipment.
This workshop is suitable for beginners to jewellery making as it teaches many of the basic skills needed for more advanced skills, however those with previous experience will also find their skills tested and improved by the end of the session. In particular, the workshop will teach delicate soldering skills to attach the stud fittings and earwires to your designs.
A shorter workshop, timed perfectly to fit between the school run.
14 to 16 year olds are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes are included in the workshop fee, but lunch is not provided.

10am-2.30pm Friday 31st March 2023 at Fairways House, Mount Pleasant Road, Southampton, SO14 0QB. Full directions will be emailed.
Materials
Cost of the materials is payable on the day. The cost will depend on the amount of silver that you use but these do not tend to use much silver. Previous students have spent approximately £10-£12 on silver plus £3.50 if you also need a chain for your pendant.
Tools and Equipment
The workshop fee includes use of all the tools and equipment needed. All workshops discuss tools, equipment, materials and health and safety considerations.
Cancellations
Cancellations of workshop places and private tuition bookings within four weeks of the event will forfeit the workshop/private tuition fee unless I am able to find someone to take your place. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.
